For those of you who read my blog and are from Oklahoma, I thought that I would let you know, if you didn't already know, that Falls Creek Baptist Assembly is taking in Hurricane Katrina victims.
If you went to Falls Creek as a teen, you know how special a place the Falls Creek is. They are asking only for cash donations right now and will get out a list of needs ASAP. To find out more about the relief efforts at Falls Creek, go to www.bgco.org

Yea, my Dad went down yesterday to help. They had sent a last minute email on late Saturday night asking for help from 10 till noon. When he got there about 10:15 or so, there was a huge line. Took him about 20 minutes to go 1 mile, and was turned away, they already had more help than they needed. As he was leaving, he saw 3 busses from FBC Broken Arrow headed that way. It was really nice to see how many people showed up to help... even if a lot were turned away.
I heard about all of the volunteers that were turned away. I think that it's awesome that so many people want to help!
